The NRI Cell of MCC Bank Ltd, was inaugurated at Hampankatta Branch here on Sunday, 6th January, 2019. Mr James Mendonca, NRI Entreprenuer & Community Leader, Dubai, and Mr Joseph Mathias, MD, Merit Freight Systems Co and LLC, jointly inaugurated the NRI cell. Rt. Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore, blessed the cell.

Mr Walter Nandalike, Managing Director, Daijiworld Private Ltd, and Mr Francis Cutinho, Former Chairman of the Bank, jointly inaugurated the ATM.

Mr Anil Kumar Lobo, Chairman of the bank, in his introductory speech, welcomed the gathering and presented the future plans for the bank. He urged for customers to support the bank.

Addressing the gathering, Bishop, Rt. Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, referred the Parable of Talents from the Bible and called upon the staff to be more customer friendly and to create a good impression about the Bank.

Mr James Mendonca, presented his valuable suggestions for the betterment of the NRI cell. He called upon the Bank not to impress upon the customers on emotional grounds, but to introduce better products, improve quality of Service and to market its products with innovative ideas. He also requested the Bank to be more proactive and to have a better risk management System.

Mr Joseph Mathias, MD, Merit Freight Systems Co and LLC, praised the leadership of Mr Anil Lobo, and wished all the very best for the NRI cell. He called upon the Bank to give priority to customer service and customer satisfaction. He also reminded the social responsibility of the bank towards the society.

Mr. Walter Nandalike, in his speech called upon the gathering and the customers to be more responsible towards MCC Bank, which is our bank and not to take advantage of the words, "Our Bank". MCC Bank has vast history and rich identity.  He reminded of the challenges to attract NRI customers and wished all the very best to the Bank.

Former Chairmen, Mr Valentine D'silva, Mr M.P.Noronha and Mr Francis Cutinho, complimented the Bank for the achievement and wished all good in the future.

The NRI Customers were felicitated during the occasion. Mr. Sunil Menezes, General Manager, rendered the vote of Thanks. The directors, Mr Anil Patrao and Mr Andrew D'souza, compered.
