The Induction Programme for the newly recruited staff of MCC Bank Ltd, was conducted on the 28th September, 2024 at the Staff Training Centre, MCC Bank Ltd, Mangalore.
Chairman, Sahakara Ratna, Shri Anil Lobo, inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp.
In his inaugural address, the chairman underscored the significance of the program and encouraged active participation from all the attendees. He emphasized the pivotal role of the new staff members in the progress of the Bank. He called upon the participants to work hard for the betterment of the Bank which will in turn will benefit the participants.
He emphasised the importance of setting goals in life and sticking to them in order to achieve success. Additionally, he stressed upon the significance of time management. As new recruits at MCC Bank he explained the career growth opportunities for employees and highlighted the Banks rapid growth in the last 6-7 years. He said that discipline is very essential in life without which performance cannot be considered. He also wished all the candidates a successful and stable career at MCC Bank.
Following the chairman's address, the General Manager, Mr Sunil Menezes, provided the participants with a detailed overview of the progress and achievements of MCC Bank Ltd, enlightening on the organizational structure of the Bank.
The Senior Manager (Recovery), Mr Deril Lasrado, imparted an in-depth knowledge of the Bank's products and services.
A session on "Soft Skills" was conducted by Mr S.H. Visweswaraiah, the former Deputy General Manager of the State Bank Group and an advisor of MCC Bank Ltd. This session aimed to enhance the interpersonal skills of the participants.
Additionally, Prof. Dr Venkatesh S. Amin, Director of Management Development Program and Dean of Institute of Management and Commerce, Srinivas University, Mangalore, shared insights into the marketing of bank products and strategies for counter-selling, highlighting the essential role of marketing in the service sector, viz, Banking.
Furthermore, Ms Steffi Jenisha Dsouza, the Junior Officer and Head of the HR Department elucidated the work policies, rules and regulations, career growth opportunities within MCC Bank and the importance of staff members for the growth of our bank.
Mr Ovin Rebello, Manager of the Brahmavara branch and Mr Rohan Kiran Dsilva, Manager of Bajpe branch, shared valuable insights into their unique experiences at the Bank, highlighting the excellent career growth opportunities available at MCC Bank.
Mr Karen Crasta, Junior Officer conducted prayer and Mrs Shainy Dsouza, Junior Assistant compered.
The Induction Programme concluded on a highly positive note, with the participants expressing their satisfaction with the event.
